“What can I say.... You stepped into my life only 8 months ago and boy does it feel like a lifetime. I am so glad I sent our mutual friend Yara a message asking her about you when you and your alchemy course popped up on her instagram story. This is one of the best decisions I have made in the past year and confirmed that my ‘go for it, you’ve got nothing to loose’ attitude rarely fails. Within minutes of the first call, I felt like I had known you for years and wanted to be a part of your 8 week journey.
Your course not only gave me a friend for life in you (I truly hope) which is worth every penny by itself but it made me a stronger person and I am forever grateful for that. Before I joined the Alchemy, I had never meditated and I had never even sat in a session and openly discussed me and my past. You held space for me in a beautiful, gentle, reassuring way and I always felt at ease in our sessions, as though I could share what ever I desired. You allowed me to think about in more depth what my triggers are, why I might be triggered by these things and how I want to show up in the future when I feel that way again.
You allowed me to start to be happier alone and to be open and honest about the way I feel. In December I had a massive breakthrough moment thanks to you and your course where I decided to ask the person I had been dating for a few months what they really wanted and explain that maybe we wanted different things. In the past I would have clung on to the relationship hoping it would work out of fear of being alone. He is still in my life but I am stronger now to accept things for what they are and spend time working on me. As well as this, I learnt how to spend more time alone, how to start to say no to events or listen to my body when it needs to rest and enjoy my alone time.
