mirrors.
The deepest part of the psyche intuitively carries and continues to mould patterns known before — somewhat a prerequisite for being in this world as our subconscious mind begins absorbing all it sees, hears and feels from the moment we awaken to the first picture of light as a newborn energy ball.
The patterns, the patterns. Just when you think you’ve broken the deepest parts down into tiny particles ready to dissipate into thin air, a mirror appears, forcing the feeling as if no work has been done at all.
This is far from reality, and something I have been needing to remind myself of lately.
@jayshetty interviewed @sophiabush recently where she said -- “We can be both a work in progress, and a masterpiece simultaneously.”
What perfect words to settle the reaction of my emotional body going into somewhat turmoil when presented with the reflection of where the next layer of my healing journey was to take place.
We are all mirror’s to one another at the end of the day — whether it be your family, friends, relationships, co-workers, phone service provider (how is your practicing patience? Ha.) — we are all here to teach one another lessons for growth and expansion — some feeling more profound & deeper than others, but nonetheless, all lessons.
So, in this moment, I am grateful for my awareness.
Awareness that I am both a work in progress and a masterpiece, flowing closer to light in each moment.
I honour that my journey is completely different from the person next to me, and I LOVE that.
How beautiful, how completely differently we are all composed in this physical body, but to remember we are all made of the exact same essential energy, of love... I take solace in knowing that I am so far from alone in these human experience feelings that can feel like we go to war with some days. ⠀

Well, I think being a Warrior is pretty cool anyway so I’ll take the adventure over not any day.
